Washington Elementary student Collin Compson's artwork, titled "On Deck", was selected to be in the ND Governor's Show which was on show at the Taube Museum in Minot, ND this past year. It is now on display at the Mercy Gallery. His parents are Tim and Tracy Compson.

Elementary student Chesney Thomsen is the daughter of Dawn and Brent Thomsen. Her piece titled, "the Three Little Pigs" was also on display with the Governor's Show, and her art was selected for the People's Choice Award. The Mercy Gallery is open to the public from 7 am to 9 pm and located on the first floor of CHI Mercy Health (Mercy Hospital).
