A search is underway in the Absaraka area this morning for a suspect or suspects involved in a theft who led authorities on a pursuit from Jamestown East on I-94 into Cass County.

Jamestown Assistant Police Chief Justin Blinsky tells KFGO News:

Major Blinsky says the pursuit hit speeds in excess of 100 mph.

The state patrol and sheriff’s deputies picked up the pursuit once it crossed into Cass County. The suspect’s vehicle was found abandoned and authorities are now conducting an intensive search for the suspect.
